Honeymoons in May

May is one of the most popular months to get married so Jane Anderson has created a handy page about the best honeymoon destinations in May. Almost makes me want to get married. Oops, I forgot. I did that already.

Numbers down

I've just updated our page on the top 10 holiday destinations with government statistics for 2009, and the drop in numbers are quite dramatic: the numbers of UK residents visiting abroad went down by around 10million. Ouch!

Half term

Thinking about half term already and it's not even Christmas yet. Tut, tut. Anyway, here are some half term holiday ideas for the kids.

I've been doing some backlink research for one of my clients, World Primate Safaris. They're a great company run by former safari guides and it's no wonder that they've had such great press coverage. Here are a few of the places they've been featured:

Oh the joys of Monday morning and creating more Squidoo pages. Apparently, I'm level 10 now (yeehah!). This is one about Natural World Safaris. Last week I wrote this page about Fitscape ski holidays.

Looking ahead

At the moment I'm very focussed on 2011, because I think it's going to be a year of huge growth for 101 Holidays, but I'm also looking forward to successive years, including 2012 holidays and even 2013 holidays. It's a question of getting quality content on those domains, which is always a labour-intensive process. Still, it's never too early!

Getting on board with Cheap Flights

Cheapflights.co.uk has a nice little blog with a fun feature, called Waiting to Board With... It consists of simple interviews with people in travel about their travel experiences.
